Courtney Cox-Kozel is a Des Moines native who received her nursing degree from Mercy College of Health Sciences before beginning her career as a telemetry nurse. Courtney later moved on to the emergency department and it was here that she discovered her passion for mental health. She received her graduate degree from Walden University in Minnesota to become a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Courtney has worked for inpatient psychiatric facilities as well as a behavioral health urgent care and is now looking forward to developing relationships and providing high quality care to our clients here at Cascade Clinical. Courtney enjoys caring for clients with a wide variety of psychiatric concerns or past diagnoses, including depression (major depressive disorder), anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, Bipolar II, Bipolar I, PTSD, and ADHD.
