Emily is a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist helping individuals navigate their mental health journey. Her approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration, as she believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to promote healing and personal growth. She works with individuals to address a wide range of issues, including neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, and life transitions.
Emily strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. Whether you are struggling with day-to-day stress, a specific mental health condition, or simply seeking guidance on life’s challenges, she is here to support you in achieving your mental health and personal goals.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Wartburg College (Go Knights!) and a Master’s in Social Work from St. Ambrose University. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Iowa and holds a LICSW in Minnesota. Emily works with Client’s 10 and older. Emily enjoys spending time at home with her husband and three kids, cheering on the Hawks/Knights, and cozying up on the couch to watch a good show.
